LG Ultragear Monitor - power on issue!

Good evening all

I purchased an LG Ultragear 32" 32GR93U-B a few months ago. Very pleased with it so far. However, recently I am having an issue with it. I am using it in conjunction with a 24 inch IIyama monitor. The Ultragear is my main.

If I power off the PC and leave it for a couple of hours I turn it back it on & there is no picture on the Ultragear - just a black screen - but there is a picture on the secondary Iyama. However there is power to the Ultragear and the Iiyama is still acting as the secondary monitor (if that makes sense). If I pull the power plug from the Ultragear and plug it back I hear the power on "bleep" and the picture returns to the Ultragear & all is well.

I have checked the power saving settings which have all been turned to off. The Ultragear has been reset to factory settings and all drivers have been updated but the problem remains. All leads etc have been checked.

If I power off the PC and turn it back on right away the issue does NOT happen. It only appears to happen when I leave the PC powered off for an hour or two.

Anything obvious I have missed? Any advice would be appreciated.

Peace all.

Sounds like a handshake issue with cold boots.

Is there a deep sleep/DP Version/Input detection setting on your monitor you can play around with? Also is the LG set as the main display in windows?

Tried diff cable?

Thank you for the reply. There is a deep sleep option and that has been turned off. The LG is set as the main display. I am using a displayport 1.4 lead. Sadly I do not have a replacement so I will see what Amazon has to offer and get one delivered tomorrow.

Thanks again.

I'd have thought a press of the settings button on the monitor would be enough to wake it up again.
