LGA 1150 Pin Out Map/Diagram

Hello All,

I have a motherboard that has some damage to the socket pins, in particular two pins are missing. I have searched for a diagram that will give me an idea of what the pin is used for and if it might still work if I bend back the rest of the pins. I see colourful diagrams for LGA 1155/56 etc but none for 1150.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Paul.

Hi wazza,

It's an asus maximus vi formula. I stuck a CPU in and the led shows error 55, no memory installed.

Damn it. Can't believe it's destined for the bin with no chance of repair.

Thanks for the info

Wazza is right, I did contact asus and they said they do not offer a repair service.

Jam in you might be spot on there, depending on which way you have it, pins are missing on the lower left corner.

wazza I did not try a single stick, had two and tried a1/B1 then a2/b2.

I'll give that ago, thanks guys.

Yes I too found a video where the chap spoke about inserting something in to the socket hole but he did not actually show how he did this or go in to detail.

I imagine it would be a little tricky because the inserts may move or just swivel around.

I guess it's worth a try as I have nothing to lose.

Thanks john.

Hmmm ok, not sure I want to lose the processor as well.

Yes I did try to find some shops that offer a replacement service, I will have to have another look. If the price is right, I will go for that after trying individual memory sticks.

Thanks all for your help/comments.
