Lga 1700 coolers

Anyone else had similar from Noctua?

Ordered a 280mm AIO while I wait, ideally wanted to test my 12900k with the NH-D15S first, then decide which cooler to use in whic system.

Just curious, did you use the form on their website to obtain the bracket or directly emailed them?
 
Just a PSA for those with a Kraken Z73 and getting a Strix Mobo, you do not need additional mounting. The mount from my z370 worked just fine!
Temps are staying nice and cool during gaming at least

I bought the artic freezer 2 360 after reading good things about it couldn't be annoyed taking my kraken out my other pc ..

Have heatkiller cpu waterblock.watercool will not send out a 1700 kit.and if buy the the kit you have to spend 150 euro to get free delivery.

Looking for decent waterblock fir 12900k any recommendations?

That's a brilliant to have it all in one post.
I'm greatly discombobulated by all the fuss thanks to introducing new LGA 1700 socket,
Ive got corsair hydro h115i rgb aio and ordered new standoffs from main corsair website, however order is still processing so I don't think I'll have it any time soon, therefore I'm slowly leaning towards buying this

According to igors lab corsair h115i would fit into lga 1700 hole pattern however compression won't be good enough to ensure good thermal dissipation,
I'm just thinking what if.. We could put some additional washers on top of existing standoffs to achieve greater compressing force?
Has anyone tried this kinda hardcore "caveman" solution? :D

Had the same issue with the Freezer 2. Even though I removed the pcb cover I just wasn't getting a good enough contact to be happy enough to power it on. Fortunately I have a 120mm Ryou that contacts fine and got me up and running til my LGA1700 kit arrives from Arctic. Asus Z690-A Strix Gaming D4 btw, has both 115x and 1700 holes.
