A friend of mine has a problem with his PC overheating and he found that the stock cpu heatsink doesnt stay attached to the motherboard.
The MOBO is a ASrock ConRoeXFire-esata2.
The problem seems to be with the stock cooler fitting into the 4 holes in the board.
Has anyone else had this problem.
I there a better cooler I could recommend to him or should i just tell him to try something like an artic cooling alpine. And hope its fits better/tighter in the holes.

Must say i've yet to move from AMD and im not a fan of the 4 hole fittings much rather the big metal spring clip.

Thanks for any help!!!

it wouldnt cost him much to just get another CPU cooler which will work better than the stock one and fit much better as well. As many CPU coolers have backplates and clips to make sure you get a secure fit.
