Hey brain people

Does anyone know of a motherboard that could hold an old i7 3770k (believe that's the LGA1155 socket type) that also has an M.2 slot?

I have an oldish CPU and would like to build a basic pc for some editing, and was hoping I could achieve a bit of the old mixed with a bit of the new? Couldn't really see anything but maybe it's just me, or just not possible.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Nope, I am certain you will not find one. The tech wasn't even in the pipeline back then it was even before MSATA. You should be able to fit a PCIe m.2 adapter card but you probably will have big troubles trying to use it as an OS drive.

Nope.

Though I can imagine the cost of a board 2nd hand if such things existed would be mind numbing.

Even fairly low end Z77 boards go for over a ton 2nd hand.
