Hey guys,

Anyone know of a decent LGA2011 board which has standard PCI (IE, not PCI-E)?

Looking to get rid of my RIVE board for something which will support my old sound card; Asus Xonar Essence ST but without having to replace my CPU and RAM.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

X79 boards not so plentiful any more - most of the Gigabyte ones have PCI ports but they almost always are positioned so that you can't use the 2nd PCI-e slot required for a GPU in SLI/CF at the same time as the PCI port.

I've got a x79 gigabyte board that has one normal pci slot on. I'm hoping to replace it with an asus board.

ASUS base X79 board series had one, they were called the P9X79 IIRC, I think the Sabertooth had one too.

IMO though it would be cheaper and less agro to simply get a new PCI-E sound card...
