Hi,
I am considering switching to Intel in the next 4-8 weeks, I was thinking of a Z77 however I don't like the fact that I would be buying into a motherboard & CPU (3770K) with no upgrade path.
As such I was thinking of getting an LGA2011, as I hear IB-E is coming next year to the 2011 platform, the trouble is my budget is around £400 in total, I could sway by £20-£30 at a push, clearly on the motherboard front this leaves me with a dilemma as I would have around £150 to spend after buying a 3820.
What is the best budget LGA2011? You can see my current spec in my signiture, and the primary purpose of the system would be gaming.
