LGA775 ddr3

I'm still running my Q6600 which does everything I need processing wise, however I'm a little limited by only 8GB of RAM when needing to work with VM's. Are there any lga775 ddr3 boards which are ok and take more than 8GB?

I'm not looking to change architecture just yet if I can avoid.

I believe some of the P43 and p45 chipset skt 775 take upto 16gb of ddr3.
