Hi, any ideas how you remove an app once it's installed?

Having an issue with amazon at the moment, can't seem to get quality above SD. Put the grand tour in on UHD and it looks like I'm watching worse quality that a normal SD channel. Not happening on Netflix or blue planet 2 on bbc iplayer in UHD. Sound quality is fine and doesn't buffer, just looks absolutely awful, so want to try a reinstall.

I found with UHD on Amazon, if I pause the video at the start of a filmfor 5 or 10 seconds the image is perfect. otherwise it does indeed look pants.

I think that was a firmware issue and you need to update the TV software

Sure I read that in AV forums.

Scaling up on Amazon doesn't seem as seemless as Netflix, Grand Tour occasionally I'd have to pause it for a few seconds then play again to get it to jump up. Seems to be worse on wireless since switching to cable it rarely happens.

Tv got swapped over in the end, seemed to have issues with WiFi on it even after the firmware update. Couldn’t browse the net on it and was getting constant drop outs on all streaming sources in the end.

New one however is working fine with no issues.

Final question, does the screen have a protector on it that needs peeling off? I can’t actually tell even when shining a light on it lol.

Only covers on mine were on the back and stand to peel off, nothing on the screen itself.
