Lian Li 011 Air Midi and Power Switch issue

Hi all -

Ive got this strange issue with the power button on my case not turning on the PC sometimes.
(case new from overclockers)

I thought I had the header wires incorrect - have double checked all good.
(there is no reset on this case so one less header to connect)

Power button does seem to be able to get stuck in the plastic surround if you press on an angle.

So turns on - turns off via power button.
Press again just after turning off - turns on fine.

Next day for example then doesn't turn back on - or seems intermittent - I don't really turn off and on again so cant say how long if this is an effect.

Can instantly turn on by flicking the switch on Corsair PSU
Can touch the pins on motherboard with screwdriver and comes on instantly.

Have ordered an ebay switch for testing in the meantime and also reached out to Lian Li - not sure they can send replacement switches for case ?

Any other ideas I may have missed.
(checked motherboard screws and standoffs - these were already in the case)

Board is
X570 I AORUS PRO WIFI (rev. 1.0)

A quick response from Lian Li.

Sending out replacement parts from the factory (12-18 days though)

Had issue with mine, returned.
The USB C would short the system depending on which way it was connected.
As one would expect, either way should be fine, but one way wouldn’t allow the system to even boot.

My board sadly doesn't have usbc header so can't even use the front port on the case.

Test with known working switch with cable and connector.
Any of the three components could be the cause.
