Just reading up on boxgods excellent review, it looks good and impressive I like the fact its 2 things + over my Akasa Eclipse 62, ones theres decent air vent holes on the front and second the hdd caddy+120mm intake fan is adjustable meaning more space and better airflow for other components, + a nice 120mm on the side for addon cards like hot X2900XTXs ;)

Anyone got one and if so any good? are u happy with it.

Note if theres a 1000+ page thread somewhere my bad....

Think I might sell my Silverstone TJ07 and get one of these soon. I bought the Silverstone because of the very good HD cooling (2 bays of 3 HD's, 12cm fan for each bay) but this is esentially the same, neater and smaller (carrying my Silverstone arround isn't fun). Anyone know how available those Lian-Li 3-HD caddies are? I'd need another one in addition to the one you get with the case.

edit: where the hell can you buy them from?

Looks like a Lian-Li Eclipse 62, just not quite as long front->back.

With a sexier front!

Would love to hear some personal reviews from people who own it.

That looks amazing! Don't know why but that case is really appealing to me. Like a Lian Li Stacker. Awsome :)

Absolutely top drawer! I really wanted one of them but couldn't get it at a UK reasonable price and so went with the V1000+II instead. I do however want those bezels off the a16 still - to complete my perforated look :)

Ditto that was my thoughts also, ive been looking for a better case in all areas then my Akasa Eclipse62, this is the only case ive seen that remotely gets there, if u check the review u can move the hdd caddy upwards towards the middle or top of the case!

This means plenty of space for an X2900XT or long cards, would also help less clutter/rubbish in the way to make it cleaner/better.

120mm front/back like Eclipse....

But £150 tad expensive but still not bad and better front..

Got mine arriving next week, (the black version). I'm using the Radiator mounting Brackets Lian-Li have released for the 343, so I can mount the PA120.2 in the front, (I'm removing the bottom HD cage), once the rad's in that'll leave two 5.25's spare at the top for the Raptor and optical drive. I was initially going to get the inside powder coated but run out of cash this month already!

Does it only leave 2 5.25" bays free? I've been talking to the same people (I think) and I was under the impression that there would be 3 free bays as each 120mm radiator space took up three bays. I guess the top of the RAD will take up a bay too. :(

I think I may have to just bite the bullet and go for the full-on PC343 with a 360.3 down the right hand side. Very pricey though, once you factor all the options in.

I'm also looking at a PC7+ fitted with two 120.1's as a budget option. I was expecting a PC-A05, but the suppliers lied about having stock on their website and I sat in all day today waiting for it, so I webnoted them and cancelled. Apparently not all suppliers stock figures are accurate!

You need to take into consideration the ends of the rad aswell as the space the 120mm fans take up. Lovely looking case though.

Am thinking put 2-3 hdds in that caddy move it upwards, 120mm fan blowing cool air over the hdds, thus tons of space below for beefy cards and it would look so clean/clutter free ;)

Then again perhaps being too choosy

The mini review I saw on another site has a 120.2 placed next to it as a guide of how much space is left, there maybe 3 bays left (ish) but I think it'd be a real squeeze. The 343 looks really nice but I'm very space limited now, (one of the reasons I'm ditching my P180), so the gf would throttle me if I brought one of those home :D.

Does anyone know of a good way to mount a HD in a 5.25 bay? I'm thinking something along the lines of a noiseblocker x-swing rather than a full on enclosure.

I'll post some pics up once all the stuff arrives, I'm still waiting on the black Tygon and spare bay covers to arrive.

Sounds like a good plan, which colour are you going with?

The airflow pic on Lian Li's site shows the rear fan acting as an intake, and hot air being exhuasted by the psu !! So presumably you need a psu with a 120mm fan for this to work. Plus how would heatsinks like Tuniq or Ninjas work. Would you have them blowing upwards and let the psu do the work of exhausting the hot air. I thought this would be a bad thing.

Would it be better to place the removable drive bay up higher with the fan blowing inwards over the hard drives, and then reverse the rear fan so it is exhausting. And of course leave the gpu side fan exhausting air by default.

I just don't see how the stock setup relying on the psu to do the work of exhausting hot air from a cpu can work.
