Hi all.

Has anyone had issues with the kryosheet on a cpu cooler, tonight I swapped out my cpu for the new 9950x and was hoping to use the kryosheet which I bought and installed end of January 2024,

Basically the kryosheet was stuck to the copper part of the cpu cooler, tried to carefully remove with plastic tweezers and the sheet just crumbled into little bits, unfortunately I was holding the aio over the mobo and bits went all over the motherboard lol.

Had a similar experience when I first tried the kryosheet years ago when they first released, didn't fall apart as much as yours but wasn't reusable by any means, switched back to paste after that.

Yeah I'm getting confused with the pads and sheets.
LOL, I know what you mean.

I think sheets are thin layers of TIM and can be very hard to install if it does not easily come of of whatever they come from factory on.

Pads are like a thin dense TIM material that can be cut to fit (or bought is size needed). Seem to be best for GPU kinds of heatsink applications.
