Can anyone tell me the clearence you have for the psu in the full and midi versions of the case? Was considering upgrading to one but ive read some comments about the upper exhaust fan interfering with the installation of some longer psu's. Just need a inch measurement from back of case to the start of the fan. :)
 
I have the Armorsuit PC-P80B fitted with an enermax galaxy which is 220mm long & there is still 20-25mm left before it meets the roof fan,hope this helps.

Need to get some pictures of my MM U2-UFO to put it on members market tomorrow so well get them taken then.

If I can find the ruler I'll make a measurement for you :) This is the P80 that I just got, in it's preliminary stage (or to put it bluntly, get it running, close the side pannel and dont look back :P).

When the case came out a lot of reviews were mentioning that due to the position of the top exhaust it could interfere with the installation of longer psu's.
 
I don't understand why these cost so much what feature sets them apart from other Lian Li cases ?

i agree with you mate, they are very expensive. I understand when you buy a HTPC case it cost a lot cos they usually come with an LCD screen. But lian li cases are just basic, there not much different from the others apart from layout and a few moving parts.

Yeah at some point. I was going to go crazy with some sort of GTX 280 SLI rig, and all the rest, but, with the new i7 CPU's, X58 boards and new graphics cards due end of the year, I didnt see the point in spending a fortune.

So I got the case I wanted (the armour) and the powersupply I would need (the corsair 750W), but everything else is fairly mid end. I'll be swapping practically everything apart from the above our come november, and maybe then I'll do some other mods.

With the current gear I was planning on maybe making an HTPC out of it, so looking at cases for that aswell.

Not that I want to put the OP off buying this case, I love it personally, but it isnt really worth £220. I used the 10% voucher and free shipping which saved me nearly £100 over the cost of the build. So, in reality it only cost me £120. Am not sure for those who paid full whack there overly impressed but thats just imo.
