Anyone got one? I'm thinking of buying one but would like to know if the stock cooling is silent?

Would also like some shots of the internals to see how everything looks when full. Also does the HDD antivibration work?

Anyone had problems getting the motherboard tray in with a large CPU cooler?

Possibly silly questions but just want to kow before I fork out £150 on one :)

You should be able to find a review on google, I just bought an A71B and was considering the B25B. I thought that the B25B might be too small but after seeing the A71B in the flesh, pictures don't do these cases justice :D

B25B looks like a great case I'm sure you would be happy with it, fans in my A71B are quieter than the fan on my Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro CPU cooler. You can always fit Scythe fans etc...

The HDD anti-vibration is the same as in the A20, which I can rate as working fine. My drives used to vibrate something awful in my old V1000.

The stock cooling is failry silent, they work at 1600rpm but they're a lot quieter than the scythe I replaced them with.

Pics of my case has been posted above :). The hdd antivibration definitely works fine.

And as you can see there's no problem getting a noctua heatsink in.

Thanks for the replies.

@ Helios1234: How do you find the stock cooling? Is there a fair amount of airflow? Does the door being closed dampen the sound? And do you find it a small area to work within?

It's pretty good, with my corei7 at 3.8ghz, it idles in the mid 30s but that's with a noctua as well. Load temp is a different story but I think that's probably down to the chip. Overall there's a pretty good amount of airflow but just make sure you clean the dust filters every so often as it does collect a lot of dust (they do prevent dust from entering the computer).

When the door is closed, the sound is dampened quite a bit but temps will rise by a few degrees. There are vents on the sides of the door but I prefer just to leave it open to get better temps.

And finally, it's actually an excellent case to work with. I wasn't restricted for space at all and cable management, as you can see from the pics, is very good. I've worked with an antec 900 before and the lian li was a lot easier to work with as you don't have cables flying around inside the case. This is my first personal build so I was fairly new to this and still managed to get it fairly clean so I'm sure you can as well :).

Drives still do that.
Now there's just nothing in hard contact with them to carry vibration forward or vibrate along drive.
(Lian Li's new soft mounted HDD caddy/tray system fails in that)

Ive also got a very similar case / psu as Helios. Can confirm its pretty quiet and Ive had it for 5 months now and really like it. Its now enabled me to drop the volume on my TV-amp setup by 8 dB's compared to my other system. Closing the door does quieten it down a fair bit... most of the times I turn the system on using WOL via iPhone now.

The LED lights for power on HDD are nice and bright, the only negative I can think of is that when everything is totally silent you can hear the hard drives rumble a little.

Just built myself a new system with one of these cases and all I can say is WOW !

Been around PC's for many years, even work in an IT department, but this is one of the best case's I've come across.

Running a Gigabyte EP-45-UD3P mobo with an Intel Q9650 Quad with a Zalman 9500AT cooler. That cooler is fairly big but there's loads of room inside the case for it.

Got 3 Western Digital hard-drives in the case with room for another 3 more if needed. Easy to fit in and no worries with noise or vibration.

Noisiest thing on my system is the fan on the graphics card. It's not the best card (Gainward 9800GTX+) but will do me for now as I had a good deal on it from work. The fans in the case are very quiet.

The only thing I could possibly see as a problem is the length of a graphics card. My 9800GTX+ is about 9" long and has about 2.5" free space before the hitting the hard-drive cage.

I know this case costs a few ££££'s but to me it's worth it and would get one again if I had to.

Hope this info helps.

Edit:-
Just emailed 2 photo's during my build of the system. Sent them to your vCard email address.

Should have checked the thread before replying :D

Nevermind. I'll have to find out how long my Sapphire 4850 is compared to the Gainward 9800GTX. Don't expect it'll be a problem but my Coolermaster's psu cables aren't very flexible and so it might be a bit tight.

Totally agree with it being one of the best cases around especially for its size, it's a shame it's not more popular.

That's one thing I was going to ask as I've seen both and I was unsure which one was the latest revision.

It's a quality case, but I think it's let down by the quality of the fans it comes with. Get it with a fan controller and some good fans and the results are amazing.

Other than that everything is great, styling, HDD cage, wire management, panels, build quality, thumb screws, etc.

It's also not a full-sized tower, but I'm sure you are aware of that. :)
