Lian-Li Case Conundrum

Hi guys,
Decided to splash out during my new build and go for a Lian-Li case. Trouble is I'm spoilt for choice now! I'm ideally looking for a case that will last me a long time, hence trusting Lian-Li's build quality; and I'd like it to be roomy so it can fit whatever hardware the future throws at us, regardless of the trend toward bigger components. And of course I'd like it to be quiet and cool, since I intend to air-OC my new Core 2 but don't want a 'l33t' machine that sounds like a turbine!

I've kind of narrowed it down to two cases which I think are gorgeous - the V1100 PLUS and the V767. From what I can make of it, both are big, sturdily built cases with silencing measures (e.g. vibration damping on the HDD mounts) and plenty of airflow from 120mm fans.

So can anyone influence my decision either way? If you have one of these cases, what was it that made you choose it?

Any input, even just subjective opinions of the two cases' relative aesthetics, will be much appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Thanks for the input guys, and for drawing my attention to the fact that the V2000 is the same price as a V1100. ATM my current build doesn't really need a server-size chassis but from the look of it, the V2000 combines ample space with good airflow to best effect. But how quiet is it?

Since the V2100 is to the V2000 as the V1100 is to the V1000, it makes for a truly awesome case. However, it does come with a truly hefty £205 price tag.

Ideally I'm not looking to exceed £150 and I would like a quiet, roomy case with Lian-Li's kind of build quality.

Among the Midi towers, you've got the V1000 or the PC101 or PC-767 as choices each at £135. From what I can see, the PC-101 suffers from the fact that the front intake can't actually bring any air into the system. For the same price, the PC-767 is somewhat larger spatially and aesthetically I think it's fantastic. In what ways is it becoming obsolete? Which leaves the V1000, for which you might as well shell out the extra £20 for a V2000 or the V1100.

The V1100 is the same size price as the V2000 and the same size as the V1000. So that extra £25 either provides extra silencing or extra space, as I see it. Still, paying £150 IS a lot for a Midi case when you could get the PC-7, which is nearly as large, for £100 cheaper; all that for some noise reduction?

I don't know. Hmmm. The V2000 is a nice, big case, but I do like the aesthetic of the other Lian-Li's more and perhaps size-wise it's overkill. Wish I could see them all side-by-side before I decided!
