I have a lian li 1010b. I currently have a rad mounted on the back.

I;m planning on moving it internally, but as this case has no built in 120mm fan holes im gonna have to cut the case.

Is a dremel the best tool for this or should i just drill the things out?

i am currently looking into something similar with my Lian Li A20 case as i wish to mount a 240mm rad in the roof of my case.
looking at the hole saw option the size of the holesaw required is 114mm and should give the cleanest possible cut after de burring.
if you do a google search there are a few templates availeable to help marking out the case for screw hole positions as well as the main fan hole.

as for removing internal partitions etc where they are held with riviets then a good quality drill bit will do the job.
Or for more substanially held parts a dremmel and cutting wheel will do the job.
Be warned though i have heard the cutting wheels for the dremmel apear to fairly fragile so i would have a few spare

Remeber to put wood under what you are drilling and dont move it till you are through the material you want to cut. Keeps the bit centered

Thanks for the tip, but how do I keep the wood secure?

Unless I drill the holes for the rad first maybe, and screw that into the wood?
