Hi

Does anyone know where i can get one of these? Its the removeable one that is in most of the range at the bottom right.

I had to use mine for a mod project, so now im missing one for my PC50. I was going to sell the case without, but i have now decided to keep it and want to put a couple of extra HDDs in there!

Ive googled around but cant find anywhere that sells them :(

This is what im after:

Unfortunately if we did we wouldn't be able to tell you as it would more than likely be a competitior!

Only suggestion otherwise is to contact lian li and see if they will sell you one direct

There is a Wanted Forum?

I have never seen that :/ /me Goes to look

Edit: So there is, i just normally go straight to For Sale! lol Posted, fingers crossed someone removed it for a Mod project, and can sell it to me!!

Don't use a cage to mount the hard drives, stretch some elastic and place the hard drives on them. You will be amazed how good this method is for stopping all the vibrations from the HDD being transmitted to the case. Your noise lvels should go down as a result. Do that to all the hard drives.
I have soft mounted all my hard drives with a slightly different method and it worked wonders. Very cheap and simple :)

This is my solution of soft mounting HDDs. I've riveted horizontal aluminium supports to the HDD rack and then used soft gel material to line them with. No vibration is transmited to the rack itself. If you want a simpler design then just stech elastic between the sides where you want to mount the HDD rack and then place the HDDs on top of them.

If you want to use elastics then you do not need the HDD rack. I assume that in your PC case you have to mount the HD rack in the same way as optical drives? If that is the case then just thread the elastic through the screw holes in the supports and that's it :)
