My A70 side panel is making some very annoying rattling noises.
Its driving me mental. Im afraid i might hurt it if i cant fix it soon.

Anyone else had this problem or got a way to fix it?

You'd have thought lian li would have sorted this by now. For a company that has been producing case for 20 odd years its a little lame. I know other companies suffer from this as well, so i'm not just picking on lain li :D

Just bend the clips in slightly, giving a tighter fit. May take a little more effort pulling the panels off but you don't have blutac everywhere ;)

Every Lian Li I've built in has done this - annoying to build in!
Not a lot you can do really other than try and dampen the sound.

I finally gave up on my PC-7 and its now the kid's pc case. I have a large wooden desk with a compartment for the case and being wood, the vibrations were horrendous, you could even stop the noise by resting your elbow on the desk! still noisy though and tried everything I could think of, soft feet, rubber grommets, quiet fans, etc, nothing worked. Got an antec sonnata midi case and voila, silence. Built like a tank and heavy but QUIET, oh the bliss.

A70 has soft mounting for HDDs so either some drive is exceptional vibrating roller, rubber grommets are too hard or case fan is bad. (just stop case fans one by one for seeing is there difference)

Blue tack in the corners of the panel absorb the vibrations...
It exactly won't absorb vibration but takes away slack and prevents loose rattling.

mine used to do this, but as my case has got more full it has seemed to stop
Increasing mass lowers resonance frequency and might lower it below frequency of vibration source. (also with same energy heavier object vibrates less)
Or then vibration was caused by fan which has now worn enough to not vibrate.
