I've just baught one of these Lian Li fan controllers from OcUK.

Very nice looking and stylish, nice price for it aswell :)

But I have one problem, how do I use it?

The only instructions it come with, told me how to set the time on it and chance the alarm temp  It says on the front of the box that it controlls the speed of up to 3 fans... How do I change the RPM??

And info would be much appriciated.

Also i'd like to ask. Whats the most accurate temp monitoring software?

I've used a few different ones, and I get different readings with them all. Especially SpeedFan, I get an extra like 20C on top of everything with that program.

Cheers very much

NachT :)

I asked the very same question when i got mine.

You can't manually control any fans with it,it does it automaticaly according to the temps/probes,if you wan't a fan running lower rpms, just put the alarm up to max(90C i think)

Now i use it as a nice clock & to monitor case temps, thats about all it's good for :( Should be a lot clearer in the product description

Here's the original thread mate

You could use motherboard monitor,i use it with a modified update for my DFI

Core temp is also very good for cpu ;)
