Lian Li Fans

Is anyone using Lian Li aRGB devices?

Specifically...

Strimer Plus GPU and ATX cables
UNI SL120 INF fans (reverse blade)
011D XL case

My plan is to have 6 of the reverse blade UNI SL120 INF fans, the Strimer cables and the case LED strip connected up but the fans aren't sold in a pack.

I'll need the cable pack but I can't decide which controller hub to buy.

What are you using?

I think I have it sorted out... the main problem was the reverse blade SL-INF fans aren't available in a three pack with a controller like the regular 120mm fans are. And the Strimer controller needs a cable so it can be plugged into the main fan controller.

The SL-INF fans need the Infinity controller... not the SLV2 controller that's widely available, so to use the reverse blade SL-INF fans you either need to buy the three pack of INF fans or get the Infinity controller on it's own.

I want to fit 6 reverse blade fans and one regular SL-INF fan to my 011D XL.

These should all connect to one controller but I don't really like the idea of buying the three pack just to get the controller and then not use two of the fans that came with it!

AliExpress has a Lian Li store and I've got the Infinity controller from there...



I should then be able to link the seven fans to it. The Strimer Plus ATX and GPU each come with an aRGB controller - but both can be connected to one of them which then plugs into the Infinity controller using one of the cables in the Lian Li aRGB UF-EX Cable pack.

So I've bought 6 reverse blade SL-INF fans, 1 regular SL-INF fan, the Infinity controller and the RGB UF-EX cable pack. I already have the Strimer GPU three plug and ATX cables.


I'll post progress when the reverse blade fans arrive.

I'm a bit surprised they aren't more popular as most cases just look wrong on 011D builds when the bottom and side are used as intake. The fans are the wrong way around.
