Hello all,

I'm looking for some advice on fan flow in a Lian Li O11D style case. I'm struggling to add an image, url below.

It would be easier if you could see the image! Anyway... EDIT - sorted the image :)

I'm thinking of 3 fans at the bottom drawing air in, 1 rear, pulling air out of the case, AIO at the top pulling air out of the case adn 3 fans on the side pulling air into the case.

I'm thinking of the following:

3 fans at bottom

1 Rear - do I need a reverable one here? I'm assuming that reversable simply means that the badge shows rather than just turning a normal fan around?

AIO at top - no need for LED displays on fans as the surface will be out of view. I'll just use the display on the block.

3 fans at side - I like the idea of showing temps on these in a visible part of the case.

Does this sound right?

Cheers,

Jed

Similar. Went with an arctic air cooler with my 7800x3d as aio not really needed. Just went with 9 sl infinity fans as daisy chaned etc xo a lot less wires to hook up. 3 intake bottom and side, 3 exhaust on top. Didnt bother with the one at rear. 6 intakes creates enough positive pressure that air pushed out back anyway. Eferything is nice an cool so prefer look without rear fan anyway

My fans are setup in that orientation though you don't want a reverse fan at the rear. You would use reverse fans for the intakes if you don't want to see the fan frames. So in the picture you posted the intake fans would be reverse as you can't see the frames

Do you know if I'd need to reverse the fans on the Lian Li AIO at the top if I want it pulling air out of the case?
so you exhausting air out the top...then standard fan. you use a reverse fan at bottom and side where you have the nice side facing inward(so you see it) and it would draw air from outside into the case...standard fans for top and at rear where you would see the nice side and it would draw air from inside the case and expel it out
