ok guys i'm looking at picking up one of these cases to replace my akasa eclipse, the reviews i've seen are fairly good, just curious if anyone has one? their thoughts on it? and if watercooling is possible with it?

regards

don't actually have the case yet so can't see how much room i would need to clear the pci slot anyways :( doh! it's a hot looking case and seems to perform very well so will probably pick it up anyways can always mod it if i need to fit the thermochill anyways :D

after reading some reviews on the 101 i've decided against it as there are some ventilation flaws with the door! so i'm going to go for the v2000B plus instead :D

The door has a load of slits in both sides for airflow to the fan. Allegedly, it's not good enough.

My six hard drives behind the door / front fan are are obviously way too hot because of it and are all going to fail imminently.

you are takeing things to the extreme here, if you use your eyes i said from the reviews i've seen! the common aspect of a bad point on the case is that the door "can" hinder cooling to the hard drives! as i will be sticking a water-cooling rad in the bottom bay my hard drive's will be mounted in 5 1/4 drive bays instead in which case with a door and no fan there would be limited airflow to the drives, where as the v2000 (which imo offers better cooling and looks better will add greater air flow to the hard disks!

agreed, my point is i never claimed the cooling of the pc101 is bad, i'm just saying if i'm going to pay in excess of £130 for a case i want some thing that is going to offer optimal cooling (i.e. the v2000 will offer better cooling than the pc101)!
