Anyone got one of these? Or any links to reviews? Im still not sure what case to go for next. After a quick look at Yewen's thread on the S80, I don't think that is the case for me. I really like the interior layout of the V series, and the 101 has the same layout, but with a (IMO) better exterior. Is it possible to get a windowed side pannel for this case?
 
I think I would like to go back to a case with a window, and the S80 is certainly not designed for that. The interior also looks too 'fiddly' with the extra alu sheets etc. No doubt its a great case, and it looks amazing from the outside. The main selling point for the S80 seems to be as a ultra low cfm case, and as im hoping to venture into the world of water cooling, I simply don't think the S80 caters for what im after. At the moment, ive got my eye on the G70(Not too keen on the interior though), the V series(Not too keen on the exterior), the TJ03(Not great interior and 80mm fans) and the PC101(Favourite interior, and decent exterior)
 
Then the 101 does make and awful lot of sense.

As its the same interior as the V's you will most likely lose 1/2 PCI slots from the motherboard if you mount the rad in the roof.
 
Is that with a 120.3 or a 120.2? At the moment I have 2x6600gt's and a USB add on card. Im planning to go with a single GPU next time, so hopefull the loss of some pci spaces shouldn't matter too much. I really would like to have a look at a few reviews first, but I can't seem to find any at all. Alos, are any of the LianLi window kits compatible?
 
Acording to the latest Lian Li accessories sheet that came with my S80, no you can not get a window. Although if you can pick up the rare beast that is the v1100 window that should fit fine. They were a limited production run however.

The v1000+ wont fit a 120.3 due to the fact its got rounded corners, which means it would not fit, however the 101 may be able to fit it, you would have to try and see.

The v1000+ will fit a 120.2 easily, you may not lose a PCI slot at all depending on the rad and how far in it comes + PCI card length, just be prepared for it. :)
 
I sort of answered aswell. At the moment no.

BUT the v1100 window kit might fit, as Lian Li have a habbit of things like that.

You could always mod a window in. ;)
 
Ah ok, cheers. I could mod a window, and my metal working skills are getting better with my android project, but the thought of cutting into a brand new LianLi is not very appealing. I know I would have to cut one for rad, but that isn't quite as drastic as a window mod.

interested in this cas as well but there are no reviews anywhere, if you do purchase it any chance if you could let me know if the front Panel is aluminum or just plastic?
 
Im thinking I might just have to bite the bullet and get one after the end of the month. Weird how there are absolutely no reviews or user photographs out there at all.

Edit; And I might have to blow my massively increased paycheck on water cooling as well :D
 
Did anyone get the pc-101 seriously considering this to replace my solid but ageing and cramped dragon-dx (air flow is seriously limited now).
Never spend a lot on cases in the past but this and the v1100 plus are the only ones i appear to like :confused: liked the look of the pc-6070 but the 80mm fans are putting me off.
any info much appreciated :)
