Ok peeps i wasnt sure were to post this so thought i would post in general, right at min i have the current system in my sig, but i was thinking of trying to make my system quiet if i can and to do this i was going to buy these items :-

Zalman ZM-F1 80mm Silent Case Fan

Zalman ZM-F3 120mm Silent Case Fan

Zalman CNPS9500-AM2 Aero Flowe cpu cooler

Ok i was going to buy them and replace the 2 fans that came with my tower when i brought it, and also replace the standard cpu cool i have on my cpu, but not sure if this will make a difference, can any1 help and tell me if im just wasting money or help me out hope to here form u soon thank you. :p

Yup, something to do with how they are built - bearings, fins or something :confused: Very quiet but effective :D
 
How much money you got to spend in total for the fans?

You wont need the 80mm blowhole fan, unless your running a high end SLI rig, the case can cool perfectly well without it, and one less fan is one less source of noise. :)

If you have not already, the GFX HSF is the first port of call for silencing a modern PC.

Once you've replaced those, the whiney 5k RPM northbridge fan will still be loud on the Neo2 mobo, worth considering a passive block to replace it if you haven't already done so.
