Does anyone have the Lian Li PC-8 case?

I was initially going to get the Lian Li PC-7B PLUS II case but it seems to have shot up in price to almost £70.
I can get a Lian Li PC-8B for cheaper than that.

I can't seem to find any reviews on the case, has it just been released or something?

its pretty new, been around for a few months max. Think its pretty much the same as the PC7+ but different front, different hard drive mounting and few other tweeks. I'd have a look at the Lian Li site for all differences, but I would imagine that it can't be much different from the PC7+ (I'd get the PC8 from the looks and new hard drive mountings)

Thanks.

I just stumbled across the Lian Li PC-A09B and damn it's sexy (IMO). It's also less than the PC-7B/8.

Shame OcUK don't stock it in Black though. :(

I decided to go for the Lian Li PC-A09B case in the end and I am pleased I did. It looks great IMO and the quality is excellent.

Nice, not sure if it's big enough though...

Looks like a nice kitchen

None of them come with a PSU so question is what modular PSU with these units.

It's a normal sized midi-tower case, but if you need a larger size there is the PC-A70B which is a full tower case and OcUK do stock that.

Thanks. :o

I'm going to be using an Enermax Modu82+ 625W PSU. It's meant to be very good and is only around £80. :)

Don't think I want a full tower...

I've got a 9800GT card and about 4 x HDDS to fit.

I'm about to order a Zalman CNPS9500-AT CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775) for my Q6600

Look forward to seeing installed pics ;)

Thats awesome, is it the same sort of size as the Lian Li A05? (Oh right, yeah you answered that).

Got any internal pics?

I'm not sure what the A05 case is but the A09B is exactly the same measurements as the PC-7B and PC-8 AFAIK.
It is the perfect size IMO.

Sorry I don't have any internal pics but I might try and get some tomorrow. I only just finished building my rig and installed Vista literally 20 mins ago.
The inside of the case is also pretty messy right now as I couldn't be arsed to sort the cables out so that will need doing first.

Will GTX 280 or 4870 fit that case?

Yes. I have the GTX260 in it right now. :)

I will try and post more pics tomorrow.

Cheers for the review. Food for thought.. Thing is new case, new PSU and new CPU cooler is about £160+ and what performance gain....???

Also look at Antec 300 as it's on T.W.O.
