Hi,

I am after a little advice. I plan to purchase a new system in the next few days but have got stuck on the case, I am trying to keep the case as small as possible.

I am hoping a Lian Li PC-A06B case would be fine for the following components.

Asus Maximus Formula Intel X38
OcUK GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB
2x Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA-II 16MB Cache (Raid 0)
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 LGA775 'Wolfdale' 3.00GHz
G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PQ PC2-8000C5 (2x2GB)
Corsair HX 620W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU
Tuniq Tower 120 CPU Cooler

Is the case going to be able to deal with size and heat of these components?

Many thanks for any feedback you can offer. :)

Debatable.:p

Seriously though, an 80mm fan is silly these days - there's not really any excuse for Lian Li fitting one. I'd definitely encourage you to think about the A05, or at least enlarging the hole in the A06 to accomodate a 120mm fan.:)

I do agree, not sure why they put an 80mm one there. Although it does look like it can take a 2nd 80mm at the back, which makes it slightly better. With a couple of decent, quiet 80mm fans, it'd be alright I imagine.

Thanks for the pointers all.

It would seem the A05 is the better choice, and to be honest I prefer the cleaner look of it having now looked further into it.

A05 it is then. :D
