Lian Li PC-A7010

See thats what worries my about lian li cases, I wouldnt mine paying £120ish for a case with thin sides but when you pay £200 you dont want a thin rattly case. The Zalman cases have panels which are like 5mm thick

I expect Lian-li will argue that people will then complain about the added weight if they are 5mm so they cannot win.

Yeah 5mm is over the top but there is a middle ground. Dont really understand the issue with weight tbh its not like you ride it up a hill. And i'd wager the majority of lian li owners don't LAN

Agreed.
I simply am very happy with my A70B, but there is always a middle ground and room for improvement and the PC-A7010 looks a step in the right direction.

but I would have loved Lian li if the copied the Eclipse 62
Now why should quality maker copy case to which Safety Technology Authority gave withdraw from sale recommendation because of failing EMC?
(no doubt majority of bling cases would get same sentence if tested)

5mm aluminum is already heavier than 1mm of steel so not much sense in it. (except in some support structures of case)

While new front intake probably has lower airflow impedance plasticky HDD mounting is considerably worser from noise aspect than soft mounting.

hmm these new cases harder, was planning to get a 71 or 2110, now theres the x500 and this one lol, i think i prefer this to the x500, i guess ill havto wait and see what this one is really like compared to the 71

It would be nice if Lian-li took it a stage further so you did not have to remove the side panel to hot-swap the Hard Drives.

Probably depends on whether theres enough demand.

Agree but I'd imagine this would be a great selling case, I noticed a couple of places have already gone out of and been back in stock.

the a70 & a71 are fantasic selling cases.

Well I just read a detailed review of the Lian Li PC-A7010.
To say it is a A70/71 with add on's, really does not do it justice.

It really is a well thought out much improved case. I hope OcUK eventually stock them.
