Yeah I was just summing up the big stuff for poster that asked. I may have to shop elsewhere on this one.

seen the a7110 for £210ish and the a7010 for £180ish. £30 is quite a big difference TBH also I never go over £200 on any component anymore so I'll probably get the a7010.

This is a personal thing, but I much prefer the front being open to access the DVD etc quickly , plus you can customize it to look really good like people have done with the A70b.

The A7010 gets my vote

I know that's whats stopping me from getting the 7010 being able to pick up the a70 for £100 is almost too good to pass up. and it doesn't really make much sense to spend the extra £80 which is quite a lot really. Plus I never feel any cases are really worth more than £100.

case in point the a70 was like £180 when it came out its a shame to have to pay a premium on a new case which half the cash is just because its new.

Ya is best to be sure, but the best value for your money @ the moment has to be the A70B.

I'm sure the A7010 will come down in price, but your talking 8 months till it's in the A70b range.
 
I was hoping that more major e-tailers would stock in and the price would go to around £150 ish + maybe

Dont want to rush into it atm as I plan on keeping the case for at least 3 years.
 
What exactly is the difference between the A70 and A71 anyway?
Just the different front?

I really like the look of that A7010 but if its £60 more just for a different front panel then its so not worth it - A70B looks awesome anyway.
 
OK, 1 thing I never really thought aqbout until I saw that review, but are HDDs on SATA only 'hot-swappable' if you use Sata power connectors from the PSU? I'm sure I read that somewhere, and it made sense (at least in XP, where my SATA power connected drives appeared in the remove drive thingy), but then Hot-swapability was out before SATA, and does SCSI or whatever use a different power connector also capable?

I maybe misinformed, but surely that means those drive bays aren't hot-swappable and you will need to power down to remove a drive? Negating the marketing of the case? It wouldn't matter to me either way, as I am more likely to remove/add a drive whilst the machine is off anyway, but it still begs the question...At least now, it's got me intrigued.
 
I think your right its not actually hot swap...more cold swap.

embalse I am like the a7010 more now actually, always gone for doored cases but your right about the tweakability

Well it's not practical either without bays in the panels to access the HD's quickly for hot swapping..

It's just more for convenience to unplug and keeping it all nice, simple and clean inside.
