Lian-Li PC-A70B height question

I had my heart set on this case and today I measured up, the height clearance I have under my desk is 590mm and the Lian Li specs say 595mm, are there any kind of feet on the bottom that could be removed to drop 5mm and fit under my desk?

I have a PC7 atm and want something bigger with better air flow and room for more HDD's

Are there any other good cases I am missing that would fit my needs and space?

Room I have
Width -237mm
Height - 590mm
Depth - Ideally no deeper than the A70 at 590mm

Unless I put it somewhere else, ill take a pic of my room and desk so you can see.

Nice little desk that is! I have wheels on my akasa mirage so it wouldn't fit under my old desk, and now my new desk has an even larger backboard. I do prefer it on the side of my desk though:

From looking at a few pics of the Lian-Li PC-A70B it looks like there are some very tiny feet. Do you have a saw handy to mod your desk?

Yea I have a saw at the ready lol.

Nice set-up you have, your lucky to have plenty of room, my flat is very small.

I was thinking I could put the case on the floor at the side, I could have a different desk if I could find something suitable, this one is a bit too high from my sofa really. I would need it on wheels though as its nice to push it to the side when i'm watching tv.

After having a quick look in the P182 thread and it looks pretty good, I had an antec 900 before and most of the things I liked about it. Would save me some hassle too and its a bit cheaper, I could buy some more Sharkoon fans for it.

I'm off to ask some questions in the thread and maybe go for this instead.

Just curious, why are you after a new case? What is wrong with your old one? I want a new case (akasa mirage atm), but I cant be bothered to transfer all my stuff over so I will wait till I buy a new PC.

Well I had an Antec 900 before the PC7 and my temps went up by quite a lot chen I changed over, the PC7 is fairly cramped really and only has room for 3 HDD's, I have 3 in and 1 more I can't put in without bodging it behind the FDD slot.

I'm also changing mobo and cooler so everything will come out anyway, and then I want to push my overclock further, I'm hoping for 3.8Ghz so need to get the best temps possible.

Everything is on the way now so I'm all set.

just to let you know the feet come of easy and measure 8 mm in height

Same here. Feet are easy to remove and should give you the clearance you need.

Here's mine next to my old PC-101B - as you can see there's a little clearance to work with:

Thanks guys, I have ordered the P182 now anyway, I will have to wait til I have more room before I can get a Lian Li, it would have stuck out the back of my desk too.
