Hello Everyone,

I have a Lian Li PC-A70F that houses all of my computer components.
Lately, I have to push the power button very firmly and sometimes several times to get the PC to boot.
I think the power switch contacts are worn since this case has been in service since 2012.
I ordered a PT-SK06B from Overclockers thinking it had the switch for power.
When it arrived today, I discovered that it has the plastic power button, button cage, and wire harness, but not the actual electrical contacts.
I cannot find any part number for the contacts, nor am I able to find the part.
Can anyone help me find the part number and part ?
Thank you for any help and advice.

Option 1:
Swap the reset/power connectors on the motherboard front panel pins.
  • The reset button will become your power button
  • The power button will become your reset button

Option 2:
Swap the switches over in their receptacles (if possible) and also swap the reset/power connectors on the motherboard front panel pins.
  • The buttons will still work as intended, however, the worn switch will now be under the reset button.

Option 3:
Get hold on any old PC case and you may be able to cannibalise the switches from under the buttons which may fit.

Option 4:
Buy new - the switches you need may be same as in this kit:

Although it is for a different case, the switches may fit and you may have to mix and match with the PT-SK06B kit you already have.
  • Can you confirm if the switches in your case are the same as in the photos below?

I ordered a PT-SK06B from Overclockers thinking it had the switch for power.
Basing on that cable having PCB connector there's likely small circuit board, which has standard switches soldered onto it.
Those switches should be available from any electronics components selling shops with better selection.
