Just a couple of questions on the case if anyone has one could they give me idea of the depth they have between the psu and the side panel (actually any little info about the case like that as going to be fitting a quad radiator in the bottom and need to check the space i have down there before i buy. As i was thinking of adding shrouds to my rad but have no idea of the clearance im going to have with the psu)?

Also anyone have an idea if a dremel is going to be able to handle the side panel for cutting or am i going to have to jigsaw the sides out with an aluminium blade ?

It looks to be identical to the TJ07 case in terms of interal layout so even if u have a TJ07 case let me know. I'm expecting it to be very tight im just wondering how tight really. As that would really **** on my parade if the rad wouldnt fit without choosing my fans very carefully (let alone with shrouds).

I have the Lian Li V2010, which is literally exactly the same as the V2110 without the front door.

I also just happened to have a tape measure handy to measure this for you :p

From the PSU to the side panel (i'm assuming you mean the side panel furthest from the PCU) is roughly 10cm. The height of the bottom compartment is 19.5cm.

HTH :)

Unless you have plenty of reinforced cutting wheels forget rotary tools... unless it looks like this.
Aluminium alloy used by Lian Li is hard.

Awesome thanks dude just checking is that an underestimate or an overestimate? As im looking at about 6cm for the rad and 2.5 to 3 for the fans which should leave me with a spare 1cm which is perfect (shame i wont be able to use shrouds though.

Yea wasn't really surprised that i would have trouble doing that just thought i would checked as never bought a lian li before (never had the cash). Looks like im using the jigsaw with a alum cutting blade. Mind u tempted to see if i can hunt round the local industrial estates and see if i can find a water or laser cutter. Might be able to get myself it cheap (might think about getting the insided sprayed by a car shop also if the price is right).

I decided as i've missed out on a lot of new tech (still running FX60 atm), I'm going to go into the next gen with a BANG. Just wish i could buy all this stuff a little sooner ahh well august it is (when i finially take the plung). Ill just have to hope that by then they release the 32 nm core i7 but hey 6months is along time. Anyway cheers guys told me exactly what i need in a short and sweet answer :D. The funny thing is by the time i get the pc ill have so many plans for it ill doubt it will look the same :D.

P.S Build log will be coming up when i buy the case which is likely to be in may so watch out for project ION :D
