Lian li PC V300

There is a review thread of Cubey below in CC if you take a look.

Depending on the price of it I most certainly would take a look next time I get some money.

Sandmaster500 is dying to get hold of one of these I think. :)

You would have no trouble selling three of each colour from the OcUK case central people alone I think, albeit slowly as it is a case with some slight flaws in its design, as highlighted in the aabove mentioned thread.

Depending on the price though, it may be worth waiting to stock the inevitable + version next year.

Trouble is, this case and the Sugo Evolution seem to be very evenly matched, with the SG01 suited more towards a high end system than the Lian Li, Cubey is really setup well for the v300+ version though, really easy to fix the issues with the case so I think it is a matter of time.

If anyone gets one, you could probably work out what Lian Li would change and do it yourself fairly easily anyway.

Most important question from me though, and the one that decides if I would buy Cubey:

Do you have any idea at if the case would be below £85?

price is a huge factor. if i can get one + a good motherboard + fans + good psu cheaper than a shuttle then i would probably buy one as my next system. i told myself i'd never buy a full atx system again but my last 2 systems have been due to price and quality. the recent shuttles are not what made the old ones special :(

Would I buy one? well I already have :)

Would it sell? I would definetly think so, as long as the price is right (which it should be considering US prices)
It should certainly work out cheaper than a Shuttle, and an awful lot more upgradable.

It's around the same price as a Sugo, maybe has the disadvantage of not taking long graphics cards without a bit of modding but from what I've seen of other peoples reviews of the Sugo, the V300 has better build quality.

Yeh the Sugo Evolution is your typical Silverstone affair.

I doubt the prices at the moment could be matched, the UK distribution are asking silly money for them at the moment.

Much like the situation the Mirage is in at the moment.

 STOP IT!!!

Ok those have came down into the good price for them, I said they were a good buy at £75 and below, low and behold later that day you get them that low.

I will probably hold off for a month or so, just not got the money to get Cubey aswell.

I wish Lian Li would adopt community product names like Coolermaster used to allow, think Cubey suits that case really well and everyone knows what it is!

Thankfully, gotta wait for a cheque to cash before I have any more money, and hopefully will hold off until then.

Cracking price on those cases though, proved me wrong with the matching pricing bit, and I am happy to be proven wrong for once!

Now, nobody buy them until I do. :p

Nice price, especially when you compare it to the Sugo :)

Vegeta- you're not going to get an ATX mobo into one of these, you can get a good pc based on an mAtx mobo, just as long as you don't expect big over clocks.

Yewen again as you know Lian-Li and there u.k channel stock is very limited.

I will see what the stock situation is like tomorow and save you one.

Don't hold one up for me, I will get one when they are available. :)

Thanks for the offer though, my financial situation is to up and down to say I would be able to take it for certain, and I do not want to mess you about. :)

£74....

/drools.

Whats the best overclocking 939pin/PCIe mATX motherboard?

I know, if I had not have just gotten the S80, woh I own one :D, then I would be picking it up for this price.

You may be better of asking in the motherboard section about the board though, much more likely to know the cream of the crop than people in Case Central.
