I'll be upgrading shortly to one of E6600 Conroe chips and a X1900XT, so I'm expecting to put out a reasonable amount of heat. I've looked for reviews of the case and there are a few but they all seem to test Semprons and the like in them.

I used to own a CM-500 so I know the placement of the PSU can cause problems. Would the V600 accomodate a E6600 and if so what cooler would fit due to the placing of the PSU (directly over the CPU).

Overall the Lian-Li PC-V600 is exactly what I want in a case but can it accomodate a fully specced system without melting?

In short, no, it won't do serious cooling. If you need a system that will run overclocked flat out, buy a PC-7+ or an Akasa Eclipse instead.

The best cooler I have found is the Silverstone Nitrogon NT-03, but I've only really be able to use mine since I got a Zalman Resorator.
