Hi all
I am just in the process of ordering parts for a new build and i was going to get this case the lian li pc7 plus, but i have read a couple of posts from people saying the fans are a bit loud! i really don't want to buy a new case then have to spend money on it making it quiet, or is the noise level ok. I presently have an older coolermaster which i think is really noisy so i am hoping as this case must be at least 5 years old the newer ones will be quieter. Any help appreciated, or can someone suggest a quiet case with a simple design, no fancy swirly bits that would be a good buy.
Thanks

It is reasonably quiet, but any case bar a low noise solution which will be more money will have not so great fans in it.

The ADDA ones are usually quite good for stock fans, and very quiet at 7v.

If you really want to make the case quiet, you can buy a pair of 120mm akasa ambers, any case you buy that does not come with ambers, you will have to buy them for to make it truely quiet.

There are very very few cases which are truely silent, especially at this price point.

Ambers can be had for under £15 for the PC7 and if you do not like the noise on the case you can buy them at a later date, 7v really helps though!

You can go around the internet and read that just about any case is loud, depends on a lot more than just the case fans.

7V to my front fan and the case is fine now, from being a bit noisy.

Temps didn't change at all either.

Hope this helps.

The case is really nice but just check before you buy that you will definitely get the 2 x 120 mm fan case.

cheers.
