Lian-Li PC7 Plus or a Silverstone Temjin TJ05?

I've built a computer and the only thing left to decide is the case. Ideally i'd like the V1000+ but i can't afford to pay that much for a case. :(

So which of the two in the topic title are best? Or are there any other's that are better for under a hundred quid? The PC7 spec says it only has 2 usb ports, is this true? I'd need more and the Silverstone has 4. :/

Anyway, i'd be thankful for any advice. :)

The case has 2 yes at the front and add to that however many your motherboard has.

The PC7+ is the far better case, and sub £100 is the best case ever made in my opinion, they are great.

Built well, cool well, look ace in the flesh and they do not depreciate too bad either. :)

Looking at reviews they backup Yewen and my choice will be the Lian Li also... Just waiting on funds

The TJO5 seems a nice case except for awkward HDD mountings.

Bah, could not care less if reviews said they were rubbish, I know I am right, if you like the plain looks then for the money there isnt a better case than the PC7+.

The amount I have recommended on here, and the amount of bad comments that come back (1, which was sorted within 5 minutes :)) speak for the case. Quality piece of kit and I would not feel bad having my main rig in one, and that is saying something for a £50 case :D

Ohhh, 2 USB ports on the front. >_> Stupid me. My Mobo has 6 USB ports. Well with all these good words that are spoken about Lian-Li (and all over this forum) i guess i'd be stupid not to go with the PC7, specially since it's cheaper.

This will be my main rig (sticking a X2 3800+, a X1900XTX and 2Gb Ocz PC3200 Platinum series RAM in there) but i've spent so much on my other components that i didn't have a lot left for the case. I'll invest in a V1000+ a few months down the line. I think the silver one is really sexy for some reason. XD

Thanks for the advice guys, i'll place my order in the morning. ;)

I've been wondering exactly the same question as the OP, was talking to Yewen about it yesterday.....
I'm gonna end up giving in and buying a Lian Li I think.... lol.

I think the Silverstone is a much better looking case and the spec seems better, but it seems the build quality has a few slight flaws...

*continues his hunt for the right case*

It goes without saying :p

Post pictures if you can :)

Yeah, will get round to it one day. Need to make a few tweaks first!

<snip>The silver ones that came with the Akasa Amber I put in the blowhole totally kill the appearance. :(

(Note it's the black version)

no asking for competitors please!

the Lian Li PC7 plus which OC stock in black,is it the one with the fan on top the case,i have seen a pic of that one and would like it,i think it is the 007,
the PC7 which is on the web site, does this come with 2 X 120 mm fans,

thanks in AD

All PC7+'s have a top blowhole mounting space, but as default do not come with a fan.

The PC7+ comes with 2x fans, one front one rear, usually 120mm, 120mm.

The PC007 has 2x Blue LED 120mm fans.

thanks again Yewen, this is a build for my boy's PC and he puts books and CDs on top of the tower,so if i put in a LED type fan that should stop him,
