Just a few questions that I would like answered if possible please on my Lian Li PC7 Plus case.....

01. What speed do these 120mm Lian Li fans run at?

02. I have a q6600 in my case and the temp is quite high even though I have a Thermalrite 120 Ultra Extreme and a Scythe S-Flex 1600rpm is this because the airflow from the internal Lian Li fans arn't very good??

03. Where can I purchase the Lian Li BS-02 or BS-03 side panel fan that screws to the back of the case so it sucks air out from the gfx card?

04. Does it have any benefit from having a 80mm in the roof of the case? And if it is, is it better to be blowing in or sucking out?

05. I see that some people are turning the exhaust fan around so that it blows cold air into the case from the back onto the cpu is this better than venting out the case? I was thinking if you had the top 80mm fan venting hot air out and the front and back venting in to the centre of the case would that be better as you are feeding cold air from all directions?

06. Can anyone tell me the best way if none of the above are any good how to get some lower temps apart from watercooling?

Thanks Guys... Look forward to hearing your responses..

your best bet is to just practice in swapping them about.

also test it with the side pannel off, if the temps go down a lot then you know your case cooling is poor and need to rearrange or change the fans/cooler.

tbh i didn't see any difference with the top fan

1. I think they are 1000rpm
2. How tidy is your case? is your hsf seated ok? checked for concave cpu?
3. Cant list competitors here
4. Sucking out, probably not much as I never really tested it.
5. Not seen people turn the rear fan round, that would mess up the airflow of the case.
6. Tidy your cables as much as possible, got any pics of inside? check what i said for 2.

There is one reviewer, obviously into modding, who reversed the rear fan and felt it was successful. He didn’t install a fan in the top of the case.

From memory he wasn’t using the more recent case with the side vent.

Google for reviews and you should find it.

I cant seem to find the review of the backward fan anywhere on Google..

However my m8 has a Lian Li V1000 case and he has the aluminium cpu vent (AD-02) in his machine and it says on his that the rear fan has to blow towards the cpu so that the iarflow hits the vent and blows directly onto the H/S. His temps Idle clocked at 3.4Ghz are 34oC which I think is brill compared to his old Thermaltake Junior case which was idling at 46oC

I think the site is the US with no sales side and appears to have died so I shouldn't upset anyone with the Link.
