Hey,

I have just installed the Lian-Li TR-3A Silver Aluminium Fan Controller into my Lian-Li PC7 case and attached all the cables to the corresponding fans etc. Yet when I turn the PC on the fans with LEDs blink on and off constantly.

If I plug the fans directly into the Motherboard they work fine.

Any ideas as to what is going wrong here?

The TR3a automatically adjusts the voltage going to the fans, your LED's turn on and off because of this.

As far as I know that is what happens. :)
 
So this is not a problem at all then? Im going to swap out the LED fan for my 2nd Akasa Amber anyway so the flickering light will not be an issue.

Just wondered if it would have an impact on the RPM etc?
 
That is the whole point. :)

The fan speed is tied into the temperature sensor on the same channel as it.

CPU fan and CPU temp, they go hand in had, and the TR3a will automatically adjust the speed, but it takes a fair bit either way for it to do anything.
