Lian-Li TR-3B How to control fans .Help !!

Don't know if this is the right place to post,hope so.


Just put one of these fan controllers in,but how do you control the fans,can't seen to figure it out

Can set time,temps,but it does'nt say anything on the box regarding the fans

How do you control the fans with this unit ?

You cant manually change them, it monitors the temps and adjusts them automatically.

Useless isnt it I just use it for looks now and bought a proper fan controller.

Its a temperature monitoring unit, not a fan controller.

The description needs changed i think.i bought this thinking i could control fans with it

It is called a Lian-Li TR-3B Aluminium Fan Controller after all,a bit misleading considering you can't control fans with it

Very strange that it's called a fan controller at all

It also states that you can monitor & control 3 fans with it

It does it automatically.

So in theory it does. I will post it up for consideration later on, or at least try and get the shop bods to put it does it automatically only.

workround?

as a workround, couldnt you adjust the temperature thresholds so that I keeps the fans low/high as you desire?.

Ive not used one (but got a build going thats putting one into my v1000), so suggestion might not work.
