Just trying to choose a new case (getting one for Christmas, woo) and I like the look of both of these.

Just wondering if anyone has tried either case and what are their views on it.

I originally wanted a WaveMaster but have read things about the cooling... not good when I'm already running a rather toasty system.

Any info?

Cool, cheers rpstewart. That's interesting to know :)

Think I'm going to look out for a V1000B... not got much money to spend.

I ordered a V1000+ and a V2000+ from OCUK last week, as I couldn't get the PlusII versions in stock anywhere...even OCUK said they couldn't get them for a while.

Guess what...both turned up and are PlusII versions, I was well chuffed, and the quality of these beauties is better than the PC60 and 6087 I already had.

I still have to stare at them now!!!

 I hope I get a PlusII. OcUK have them listed as just the Plus.

Ah well, whatever model OcUK stock, I'll be happy. There's one on its way to me now :D

Most prob will be a +II, I bought 1 just a few weeks ago, site says + but got a +II.

Well, it's arrived.

From the box it doesn't mention being a +II, just a +.

Ah well, I'll find out for sure tomorrow :D

Well, it's finally up and running.

Been working on it since early afternoon but wanted to get it nice and tidy first time round, so out came the soldering iron to lengthen cables.

Got my SuperFlower/Akasa control unit all hooked up with probes on the CPU, graphics and PSU.

It's such a nice case to work with. So much room, nice layout for the cables to run... the perforated front cover is so sexy, especially with a couple of blue cold cathodes behind it.

Just sorting through the pics now...

Right, here's a few pictures... they're a bit crap but you get the idea.

Ok, my webhost is rubbish, so if you click the above link, you'll get an error page. Simply go through the images, from 1.jpg to 8.jpg typing the numbers in manually. Should work then.

:)

edit...

And for the cold cathode haters... here's how it sits (and will for most of the time) in my room...

Not a cold cathode in sight.

I hope you're thoroughly ashamed of yourself ;)

Enjoy.

Merry Christmas.

:(

So come on, what've I missed. Why don't you guys like cathodes? Are LED fans ok? :p

Cheers Mekrel :) Where'd I go about getting a bezel from? Do OcUK sell them?
