Just finally getting around the case choice

discarded the P180 as an option due to poor layout and build quality

now down to the Eclipse and the V1000 plus

two questions

Whilst the v1000 plus is a better build quality can it really match the eclipse for the internal space and number of bays and cooling efficiency?

Secondly, as in relation to the post title, is there a window panel available for the V1000 plus....I've searched the case mod pictures, etc and posts and cannot find any mention of this....but browsing the web I seem to believe that there is a window panel for the P71 that will fit the V1000 plus - is this correct?

Yes there is a window panel for the v1000+ but it has its OWN PANEL. It is quite easy to get hold of aswell.

The cooling on the v1000+ can match that of a eclipse, and the case is in a different league to the Eclipse.

If you are willing to spend the extra money, you will not be dissapointed.

what about the case space differences and the removeable motherboard tray..
are they things that matter?
I assume the eclipse has far greater case space

It does not have far greater case space due to the v1000+'s comparmented design, the removable motherboard tray is not essential, and it would make little difference to the v1000+.

above window cost me less a tenner. Sheet of glass £7 and rubber moulding to hide the rough edges and bare metal £3.
