Hey guys,

You know if the V1000 comes with the sidewindow, or do you have to buy it?

If so, it is available on OCUK as I cannae find it.


Also, would you say this case looks best in Silver or Black?

Well, I'd say black, but it's all a matter of opinion. ;)

And it won't come with a window. You'll have to buy that separately. If OCUK don't stock it, there are other companies that do.
 
The V1000 doesn't come with a window, they do exist but you'll need to source it separately. OCUK don't have them and if I knew where to get one I couldn't tell you anyway I'm afraid.

As for colour I'll start the debate with black.

EDIT: OK, I'll be the third person to say black then.....

I quite like the V2100 aswell. Are the Enermax Libery cables long enough to reach across this mamoth?
 
Should be. Depends where the connecting points are on your mbd and other devices, but it would be an unusual design indeed for them not to reach. You should get atleast 60cm HD cables though. 45cm could be very tight indeed, especially if you want to hide them.
 
The V2100 is actually quite deceptive, because the motherboard is the wrong way up the cables don't have to go that far to get to the board (with the exception of the PCIe power).

Would I need to fashion my own sidewindow for a 2100?
 
I don't think there is a window option for the 2100, as it is supposed to be a silent case, and therefore a window would affect these silencing properties. I've certainly never seen a window for this case anyway.
 
V1000 Plus II in silver for the win!

The Enermax Liberty is a tight fit, becuase the cables emerge from the whole side rather than just the corner of the PSU box, but doable. Something without modular would be perfect. Nonstandard PSUs; if it is just length you can sacrifice one of the 2 x 3HDD bays.

it don't come with a side window and ocuk don't sell the side windows.
you cant buy them from another retailer. but they ain't cheap :)
 
The choice of colour is very personal, so I wouldn't want to influence your decision in anyway.

Yeah, I'm thinking Black. The Sliver look a little too much like G5's to me.

Im thinking of going with the V2000 now aswell.
It seems to incorporate the size of the V1000 with the looks of the V2100; as well as being cheaper than the V2100.

Thing is, I would love for OCUK to stock the V2000 sidewindow. Any ideas if they plan on doing so in the near future. Or does anyone have a Black one up for sale on here? (I cant get in the Members Market yet).

The V2000 is significantly bigger than the V1000 both in height and depth. The V2100 is just a V2000 with a door.

LOL, I got them the wrong way round by mistake, sorry! :p
 
from what i have gathered they arent particularly easy to get hold of.

i have only recently recieved an e-mail confirming that they are back in stock at another shop after waiting over a month. they also seem to be relatively expensive (£45 + shipping) in comparisson to the price of the case.

EDIT: oh, almost forgot. BLACK!!!
