Lian Li V2000 + Enermax Galaxy PSU

Will I have any problems putting a Galaxy PSU in a V2000 without removing the hard drive enclosure?

Just want to make sure before I buy.

It will go in just, and I mean just. Next to the bay is a wire managment panel which you might have to move if you want to keep the second bay. I have myself got rid of the second bay but kept the other pannel in place.

Thanks for the reply. I have the original "non-plus" version of the V2000 so I can't remove any bays, panels, etc (they're all rivitted in).

Not sure whether to go for it or not...

You will not be able to fit a Galaxy then is my gut reaction. Not used the Galaxy but I can not imagine it fitting.

Why do you need so much power anyway?

Not at the moment, just wanted to "future-proof" my system, that's all. Might have to re-think my plans.

Future proof is what works for your system now, with computers you never know what is around the corner.

Personally I would grab an S12 Energy+ Seasonic and run anything you want from it for a good few years.... oh wait I have done that myself.

The Corsair is another option, although modular so I am not quite sure if it will fit in perfectly.
