m8 its big, really big
excellent build quality, fairly quiet, was a thermaltake fan before but wont be going back now, you wont be dissapointed with lian-li

I've just moved my rig out of one. It's a great case, plenty of space inside and very well built but I found it quite noisy, especially the crossflow exhaust fan (the normal fan of the Plus II is probably better). I wasn't that impressed with the cooling for the amount of noise but that's probably what you get for stuffing it to the gunwhales with HDDs and the associated cabling.
 
this is a fantastic case, u will have plenty of room for all the latest cards and anything else you would want to put in here. Heres a pic of my case.

Hope this helps , i have modified my case so before u ask, were the side panel came from, I made it. ;)

Also before u worry about crossflow fan, the plus 2 is different and if you change the fans it is a totally silent and a well built case.

Sorry I know I sound a bit stupid but what you are saying is change the crossflow fan for a plus 2 fan, what is first plus II and where can I obtain a fan from, any help appreciated not really technical minded, thank you. :rolleyes:
 
It's not a case of changing the fan, in fact that's not possible.

The V2100 is available in 3 flavours:

V2100 - no fan at top of case, rear fan acts as an exhaust
V2100 Plus - crossflow exhaust blower at top of case acting as an exhaust through the back panel, rear fan is an intake.
V2100 PlusII - crossflow fan replaced by axial flow (normal) fan exhausting through the side panel as per Veee's photo. Rear fan still an intake.

I *think* the Plus has been replaced by the PlusII so chances are you would get one with the quieter fan anyway.
 
Hi I have been told that he threw away the some of the bits in the v2100 case when he obtained his v2000, please can you tell me what fans etc are crucial to have or that comes with the case new, or any other bits which are needed standard, any help would be appreciated before i decide to purchase thanks.
 
The V2100 comes with two 120mm fans as standard, one in the lower front intaking into the drive cages and a second to the rear above the mobo I/O plate.

The V2100 Plus comes with the two mentioned above plus the crossflow exhaust blower which sits over the expansion slots

The V2100 Plus II has a third 120mm fan instead of the crossflow blower which exhausts through the side panel.

The crossflow blower can be added to the vanilla V2100 as an extra. The third fan from the plus II cannot be added to the others because it requires a different side panel.
