Lian Li V300 - PSU Help ???

Started bolting everything into my siney new v300 last night!

knew the 8800 was gonna be a tight squeeeeeze & took the dremmel to it accordingly!
more or less finished everything off & went to stick my Hyper 580 Type-R in.... and the poxy thing doesnt fit :( :( :(

My preference is for a modula jobbie coz i dont want 4 billion cable dangling around doing nothing!
Anyone else got v300 & what PSU's are ya running???
 
It's a complete pain in the ar$e!!!

it's the funky plug & screw modular connectors on the Hyper Type R are just a little bit too long!
I've been onto Overclockers & they've recomended a Tagan 600w jobbie, i've had the Hyper for ages now!

I can take a rular/tape measure to it when i get home if ya want???
 
ive seen some 1 use a Enermax Liberty 500W ELT500AWT in a v300
the cables are more flexible to work with

also the Corsair HX 520W would be a good choice. i use a Enermax Liberty 500W
in my sugo, but if the Corsair HX 520W was out at the time i would have gone for that first.

both psus are great for small cases

As a last resort i removed the chome colar bit on one of the Hyper leads, but im still outta luck :(

New PSU time :p

I do like the look of that Enermax, plus a "proof it fits" picture had me sold... wheres me wallet ;)
