Just built myself a new PC with the above spec + Corsair 520W Modular PSU.
Coming from a Shuttle SD37P2, I thought this case sounded like the space shuttle being launched!

Upon further inspection, I realised I had plugged the front fan, and the exhaust fan both directly into the PSU, with the"Y" splitter that came with the PSU.

I proceeded to look for the fan connectors on the mobo, and found those to be 4 male pins only, where as the fan connectors are only 3 female pins connectors (standard)

I know I'm being daft here, but I seriously cannot figure out what I'm supposed to do/what I'm doing wrong.

please steer me in the right direction!

basicly i have put a thick red square around the fan connectors on your mobo that will power the fans hope his helps , plug the fans directly into the connectors marked with the thick red lines

3 pin fans plug into the 4 pin connector on the mobo mate.just line them up with the `finger` on the 4 pin connector
also check the bios as i think default is temp controlled and doesn`t spin the cpu fan until it gets warm(nearly **** myself when i first installed said mobo :D
