Ok cool cool :)

And what about this Fan Controller?

Do they help?

And ill i need to buy all different Fans so they can connect to this Controller or do they have the right connections on them already?

I'd personally just stick with the fans provided with Lian-Li, I had this case before and it worked really well with the cooling provided.
My advice is to just get the case first and see if the cooling is adequate for your needs ;)

Ummm so it only just about fits, going to think about it. :)

Does anyone know what the size of the Fans are? and how many more you cann add on?

Im also thinking about getting this?

Commenst please :)

I used this controller before. Pretty decent as it controls all the way up from <5v to 12v and will beep if you drop the fans to such a low speed they won't start. Some controllers have much less of a range and no warning buzzer if fans stop. It also comes with thermal probes, so you can have 1 fan (say cpu fan) connected to the first channel and also have a thermal probe connected to your cpu, have 2nd fan for hard drive connected to 2nd channel, and also have thermal probe going there. You get the idea. It will allow you to monitor fan rpm and temp at same time. Be careful of fan choice though. Akasa Ambers give a completly wrong rpm readout with this controller. About the only fans I cam across that gave eroneous readings.

Thanks Flanno.

Im thinking about getting this additional Fan to mount on the top of the Lian-Li 7 case.

Is it ok?

And what is the 4pin, 3pin thing about?

dont use the stock lian li fans they are **** niosy and dont push that much air

That's weird massive, when I had this case I had no problems with the noise or air intake.
I found no improvement when I changed the two fans :p
But if you decide to go for the extra fan at the top, remember to place it so it sucks air out of the case, made that mistake with my Lian Li once  .

dont have that case m8 got V2100 +2 :D i found my fans were niosy and a bit crap might be different in yours, the air patterns are very different to each other think ive got mine sorted thanks anyway

Might be, but I recently upgraded to the V1000, can't wait to change over :)
Might buy that Akasa fan controller too, just because I need something to waste 30 pounds on  .
But hey, the V series are designed for cooling, isn't the V2100 very quiet with the stock fans, atleast I think I read that somewhere...

Whatever fan you get at the top will be noisy at 12v...I had this case before (PC7+) and used a Nexus 80mm fan which according to silentpcreview is the quietest and smoothest sounding 80mm fan. Proximity of the top fan grille causes turbulence. I ended up modding it to 7v, or in your case just plug it into the fan controller. The fan controller you are proposing only takes 3pin fans, so if you are using any fans with 4pin molex connectors you will need to buy 4pin to 3pin adaptors.

Also, 120mm fans I rate for quietness while pushing decent airflow are
Scythe 1600rpm (only if using a fan controller)
Noctua 1200rpm
Noctua 800rpm
Papst 4412GL
Scythe 1200rpm
Nexus
YateLoon (though you need to run them at 10v or lower or they are too noisy)
Sharkoon Silent Eagles

I know all of these with maybe the exception of the Sharkoon will start at 5V.

I don't like the Ambers (or Coolink (same thing - really YSTechs) - noisy at 12v and click at all other volts. Same with the Acoustfan Dustproofs which a lot of people on these forums like. Had them ages before OcUK stocked them and never liked them. Noisy, and clicky under 12v also. The SilentX push hardly any air. Also the Scythe 800rpm while quiet, has a very high starting voltage so wouldn't recommend these either if using a fan controller.

The v-series fans are loud compared to the ones I have listed but push a lot more air. (at least on the v1000 I had when if first came out). They also clicked when on a fan controller.

You do not need the top 80mm fan unless you are running some serious hardware, a current gen SLI and DC setup will not need the 80mm.

If your running an old P4 you may need the extra cooling but I have yet to find a rig where the 80mm is actually needed, it is there from when the PC7 was equipped with 80mm all round.

With regards to the graphics, you can remove the HDD cage and install your hard drives into the floppy bays perfectly fine. :)
