Lian Li's

Shame, but with the prices going (having gone?) up and up, it only makes sense. I remember a short while back (<1 year) Lian Li were one of the biggest selling case manufacturers on OcUK. Alas, how times have changed.

I used to sing Lian Li's praises all the time, but when Corsair came along and offered the same very high build quality and minimalist style but for half the price (or less!) it became clear that they can't compete any more, or simply won't.

Corsair cases are also far easier to operate. I just wish they had wheels!

Same for me - my old case was a Lian li and i refused to entertain anybody else saying other build qualities with the same / similar.

I took the plunge with my new build to get a corsair 650D and it is of equal quality, but better design for (especially for cable management) than my Lian li and of course cheaper too.

I really wouldnt go back to them now

Oh and corsair support is awesome

I would consider another Lian Li, because they are the ultimate cases to mod - lightweight (which is handy if watercooling will be the eventual goal), and the aluminium is easier to cut than steel. I remember when I had my FT02 watercooled, it was so heavy that getting two people to move it was preferable. The V1000 I had however was lighter with watercooling and everything else than the FT02 was bare.

I got a 7NFWX recently for about £140 and can honestly say I've never had a better case. Maybe all my past cases have been terrible, but the Lian Li really is a tremendously good product.

Here was me thinking £145 was expensive for a case back in 2006. It's one of the reasons I haven't changed to this day. 5 years later and I'm still using the first Lian Li case I've bought.
