libmysqlclient.so.14 Freebsd

Hiya

I am having a problem on our new linux server.

When I try to load pureftpd I get this error /libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libmysqlclient.so.14" not found, required by "pure-ftpd"

Now I have never used freebsd so Im not really sure what I need to do

only used it once for css servers never liked it but hay ho each to there own
think it uses pkg_add with -r option to install with all its dependencies
so you could try

pkg_add -r libmysqlclient.so.14

other commands

pkg_info | grep libmysqlclient.so.14

pkg_delete libmysqlclient.so.14
