Libre Office

I use Libre Office, it works well and is fairly lightweight (and free)

But the spell checker doesn't work, I don't think it's ever worked. Open Office spell checker worked but I believe development for that has ceased.

How do you get it to work?

I've just downloaded it, to test it out and the spell checker works for me.
During the installation, I just selected English UK and deselected Spanish, US English and all the rest.

In the Tools - Options menu, under Language Settings, is everything ticked that should be ticked?

I'm not sure what else to suggest.
