Although it's not being given much coverage in the news, there is serious unrest in Libya. I have a Libyan colleague who I work with in the UK, who had to go back to Libya last week to address family issues there. Today I found out he was unfortunately shot dead yesterday by some rebels. This was very shocking to everyone in the office. It is a sad loss of life, especially as he was very talented.
I feel like I need to tell someone and bring the unrest in Libya to people's attention. We have it easy in Britain. Unfortunately others do not have it so easy in other contries.
